CBBH Photo Challenge: VIEW FROM AN AIRCRAFT

CBBH Photo Challenge: VIEW FROM AN AIRCRAFT

Back in 1974, this was the moment I looked out the window and saw Venice stretched out before me. This began my love affair with Italy. ย I am still in love with it today.

You might be wondering about today’s title. It is from the blog, East of Ma’laga where you will find the Conejo Blanco Blog Hop. It is a way of spreading the word about other blogs we read and appreciate. Two that I really enjoy are: You’ve Been Hooked and Deliberately Delicious. You’ve Been Hooked has me chuckling and laughing out loud everytime I read it. Deliberately Delicious is a thoughtful journey by a former colleague of mine who delves into the meaning of her own life.

  1. Ahh Venice, and a window seat view of it too.

Thanks for sharing this, it’s reminded me of another window view I have sitting in the files waiting to break out. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. As a huge fan of Venice and its magic, I’m totally with you on this one! Italy is a country loaded with flavor and beauty, I could never tire of it, I actually wrote a poem on Venice and one of Burano. Thanks for sharing this ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Hello Diane – great to have you on board with this month’s photo challenge. Venice is one of my favourite cities in the world, but even though I have visited on three occasions, I have never flown in once. This makes your photo all the more interesting to me ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for sharing links to two blogs you enjoy. Recommendations are always great, aren’t they?

  5. Hi Diane,

Thank for the traffic from your Social site… I tried to leave a comment there but it won’t allow me to. (Problem I’ve had before with blogger)

I hope the kids are learning something valuable that will go with them throughout their lived. Human dignity comes at a price for some!

  6. Hi Diane, thank you so much for mentioning me here! I’ve been having a bit of a break from blogging and was catching up today on some of my favourites. What a nice surprise to see your recommendation. Thank you!

I love how you are revisiting a trip from your childhood. The view from the aircraft photo, seen through the eyes of a child, is doubly magical.
